Oddly enough, my husband and I discussed the same thing last night, and feel just like you do.

We won't buy a vehicle that is made by the Feds and the UAW with OUR tax money.

About half the country is gonna feel the same way. And the other half wouldn't be caught dead in an "American" car anyway. So I don't see how GM and Chrysler can survive at all. Obama is killing them.

I've owned GM's all my life but my next truck will be a Ford

I have a 2007 Chevy Avalanche with 12K on the odometer. The best Chevy I've owned. I plan to keep it a long time. Not worried about replacement parts. They should be readily available from someone in Cuba. <g>

You'll love the comfort of a Ford. Best care I've ever owned.
