The left brings it up over and over and over. We respond.

Clinton adm figures (including George Tenet, Clinton AND Bush's CIA chief and the person who assured Bush the WMD issue was a "slam dunk") and leading Congressional Democrats all supported the war. It didn't happen cause Bush alone wanted it too.

why do you continue to insist the existence of WMD justified it.

Can't speak for anyone else but I have never suggested that WMD is the only, or even the best, reason for invading Iraq.

There were tons of good reasons for doing so. When making the case to the American people, Bush had intel that said WMD were there, and that was obviously the easiest to explain to people.

They could have made the case without it, and I'm sure they would have had there been the slightest doubt about the presence of WMD.
