So you lied then and you really are against free speech. So take your own advice. You lost and even the vast majority of your fellow catholics are against you. America has spoken.

What I have had problems with are the folks who play the role of God when they legislate that a woman cannot choose abortion "because she is committing murder by doing so." I consider playing God as blasphemy. I do not hold religious leaders in high esteem. My belief is that God is powerful enough to reveal Himself/Herself to all folks. If a woman or a man chooses to abort a baby, then they are answerable to God. Gid has entrusted them to care for the baby in the womb. The baby does not belong to society yet.

I find it strange that collectively as a society we put people to death but we want life to come to Earth even when the baby in the womb is not ready to come to Earth.

Just my two cents for the day to keep this discussion civil without any personal attacks through the use of words like "you" etc. I do understand that this issue evokes a lot of emotion. We can discuss it meaningfully with the hope that we can turn around at least to our point of view, only when we do not allow our emotions to get the better of us.
