So, the really burning question? Is there any way to bet the income for the law firms? I know they are partnerships, mainly, darn it. Maybe Vegas will make book on it... ;-)

Here's an interesting interview in the San Jose Mercury News by a member of the DOJ Team that litigated the original Consent Decree.

Overall, a good discussion of the legal issues, and it contains the following quote:

"If there is vindication I think it's due to the fact that it's now recognized that this consent decree was crafted in such a way that it anticipated future behavior. It prohibited Microsoft from making the licensing of the Internet browser dependent on licensing the operating system.

So, Regimond, what is Microsoft going to say now?
