This is an excellent post. US foreign policy has been sub par for the past 30 years. We just look at the world through our own colored glass.

Asia, like Europe, is also coalescing into a powerful conglomerate. Not into a military one but into a economic powerhouse. with the diverse political systems of the Asian countries, it remains to be seen if they will, at the least, achieve the level of success that Europe has?
