i hope your post gets widely circulated. it is angering and chilling at the same time.

but we won't revolt. life is still too easy here. the constitution has protected us for so long that we didn't even realize that we needed to protect it also.

conditions have to deteriorate to romania like in the 80s before people finally act.

were in god's name are our heros and statesmen when we need them? we need some good terrorists like george washington and thomas jefferson. (ron paul?)

the economists they have in washington now have degrees in social studies or philosophy. it's like hiring a lawyer to fly an F22.

i so admire our forefathers now. i didn't understand years ago how rare they were. how honorable they were. the integrity they had. contrast them with the self-serving, corrupt liars that 90% of our politicians are now and it is enough to make one puke.

the constitution protected us, but we didn't protect it. we reap what we have sown..

This kind of trash has some truths in it but I recommend readers check out Atlantic and Harpers magazines for real analysis of what happened.

I thought your post was good enough to send out to my email list. The response from a friend:

"Congress gets near full salary pensions with full benefits
for life, after just one term!"

This is simply not true...If author asserts falsehoods as if they were researched facts and he could easily determine the truth, is anything this guy says worth paying attention to?

He's got a point.

Congress' retirement benefits are an outrage, but some people will read what you wrote and disregard it because a one or two-term congressman gets no pension, and the others don't start collecting until they've met an age requirement.

Just wait till they pass the NEXT Bill and they continue to Monetize the Printing Press Runs.

In total, out of the 10,160 projects in the 2009 Congressional Pig Book there were 9,939 requested projects worth $11.8 billion and

"""221 anonymous projects worth $7.8 billion""".
