He obviously has great credentials. I think is article is about how he would handle the case if he was the BR judge. Chrysler is applying to sell most of its assets to a new company under 363 b1 of the bankruptcy code. It is a motion which the judge must decide. It is a tactic and procedure which basically can upset the apple cart as to the secured creditors. But it is part of the code and the judge must decide what is best. Obviously if this professor was the judge , he would rule differently. But a liquidation would not benefit the secured creditors as the assets would be worth pennies on the dollar.
