I don't think he considered his godlike allusion to be a joke. I'm sure you're right! I just returned from a three week trip to Italy and Monte Carlo....so I'm "out of the loop" as far as keeping up with the overall news, and especially with business news. Most of the places where I was staying (a castle in Tuscany)...and then on a sailing ship, didn't have T.V., and finding a paper to read was difficult. I am amazed daily by all of the programs Obama (and Nancy Pelosi) declare they're going to start, and how they think we can fund all of these programs. The article you posted earlier is IMO one of the most significant changes made recently. The attorney mentioned in that article was interviewed today and he compared Obama to Nixon. He felt Obama will do what he thinks is right even if laws are broken, just as Nixon did with Watergate.
