"In a 2002 briefing, officials said they had legal opinions saying that harsh interrogation techniques could be used. Pelosi said the only mention of waterboarding at that meeting was that it was not being employed."

I know you wingnuts hate Pelosi, but if it comes down to "she said, the Bushie CIA said", I'd have to go with her.

If there's any REAL PROOF that she was told, she should bear some responsibility - but, much less than those DEVELOPING, INITIATING and DEPLOYING the torture programs.

When will the dems force Pelosi to resign ?

Wouldn't surprise me (or concern me) if she got ousted as speaker. She could take Harry with her.

"House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she was not complicit in the government's decision to waterboard terrorist suspects."

Well, Shorty, are you willing to support that we need to fully investigate this, find out who knew what and when? Along with who did what and why?
