There is a VERY fine line between good leadership and "leading by the gut."

Bush was supposed to be someone who can surround himself with very qualified people, but he didn't really live up to that reputation. Some were smart like Cheney and Rove, others were just plain stupid like Tenet and that FEMA guy.

The crack about his IQ wasn't meant to be taken literally, of course. I'm just illustrating what sort of stupid people the left has to tolerate while they attack the supposedly "stupid people" on the right.

Because Ten KNOWS that Bush was a terribly weak president that was manipulated by bad advice from neocons and wingnuts with agendas within his administration every which a way. With no real strong principles or knowledge of the world, what else could he do? The only thing he believed in was tax cuts.
