Cheney was selected by Poppy to take W by the hand, find him a VP and help pick his cabinet. Cheney, realizing the W knew NOTHING about the world or the presidency, quickly realized the HE could be the real power. He picked Rumsfeld, his old partner in crime, for Sec. Def. He knew the two of them could run W and marginalize Powell after Powell's credibility was used to sell the Iraq invasion. Ole Rummie got booed last nite at some get together. We need to start doing that with Cheney. A little booing would help keep those boys at home and out of our hair.
