I sincerely hope your right. I find her to be one of the most dangerous people in America. I can't imagine anyone they would vote in that wouldn't be an improvement.

Also the unofficial party hitman - Jon Stewart - took her on the other night.

I hope beyond hope that you're right and Pelosi gets voted out in the next election but I have my doubts. As was noted before on this thread, the Democrats have California in a full nelson of gerrymandering...... The last election results showed that not one seat had changed parties. Unfortunately the Democrats have been in power long enough to basically rig the entire state.......

The same situation exist with another thoroughly corrupt fool, Barney Franks..... I wouldn't bet on either getting voted out.

If for no other reason than separating himself more from Bush, I'm sure Obama would welcome Pelosi's departure.

I predict that Pelosi is on her way out into history.

Maybe we convince her to run for state governor. There would not be a nickel of difference between her, Gavin "Any Twosome" Newsom and Antonio "Mr. Hollywood" Villagarosa.

With those three idiots in the race for most liberal, we might be able to sneak in a moderate republican. I know. Dream on.

Interesting theory, and one we'll be able to check against reality in the near future. However, even if Obama would gain in stature by chucking Nancy under the bus, it would be a big blow, a big derailment, of all those many many bills that have to be passed right now before the public wises up, um, I mean, while the crisis lasts. And who would replace her? Isn't her second in command John Murtha? Obama needs a leadership fight like he needs a hole in the head.
