"I am biased by principle and on conscience." "What does that mean?" Consciousness is informed by an awareness of human nature and the connection it has to all things circumstantial and eternal. When that realm is open, a room of meaning qualified by principle and purposefulness is found in the consciousness of us all. When it is closed, a universe of evidence is unavailable. The principles one chooses to live by whether based on honor or material want define purpose and direction, which consequently drive decision making. One may drift along with little or no conscious concern for the values which drive decision making... partisan devotees do that. Or, you may choose a life of individual purposefulness which requires you to take responsibility and to consider issues in a lucid and thoughtful manner.
