SLBD, if you don't mind my asking, I've always thought an important component of surviving residency is the ability to sleep deeply when you sleep.

In other words, my theory is we all need about 3-4-hours of deep sleep a night, and some people can get that in 4-hours while others need up to 8-9 hours to get in that 3-4 hours of sleep.

The deep sleepers can also sleep through storms, earthquakes, and all kinds of noise. They also often need strong alarms to wake them.

What do you think of this?
