I understood her role to be one of an approving authority. That is one of the reasons my position has been that Bush was proceeding according to due process of the law. That and the Justice department's stand on the issue. Obviously she is not stating her role that way now.

By concealing or helping to conceal the Bush Admin's alleged crimes when it was her duty to provide oversight,....she became an accomplice.
