"WHat took them so long...wait it's the SEC...! " It takes a lot of time to get a 'clearance' from those who really run this country on who should be the 'safe fallguy'. It's really complicated and it probably runs like this: Parties: A: Naive prosecutor. B: Supreme authority. C: "suspect" Scene: some lush green lawn, A & B strolling along as if taking a casual break from the irrelvant crowd. A: Sir, we need to have C to quiet the public. B: good idea, continue. (whisper: turn off your recorder) A: your guard took the recorder, sir. B: good boy, continue. A: C's family have no connection to high society. B: wonderful, check that one off, continue. A: C's background/connection checked and reveal no threat. B: great, does C have knowledge of our operations? A: No. Checked and monitored for 36 months, all cleared. B: super, is he a republican or democrat ? A: Independent, Sir. B: Just beautiful. We never have this conversation, understand. A: No, we never. B: Need I say more.
