It's no secret that Europe is more leftist and more socialist than America. Plus it's no secret that Neelie the Terrible has a real anti-American bias in everything she does, at least when it comes to business regulation.

And finally it's no secret that AMD is not only trying this case in the court of public opinion and is actively lobbying international governments. What, you think Germany is staying out of this whole thing because of conflict-of-interest? Yeah right. Same with Japan and Korea, who want to protect their domestic conglomerates like Toshiba and Samsung.

You're really fooling yourself if you think there is no political angle at all.
