Losers in a competitive battle always have an excuse. If AMD had done a better job, they would have won 80% of the order based on price, performance, infrastructure and end user demand.

At one time AMD had about 100% of Rackable server sales. Did Intel whine? No it went out and won 95% from Company A.

The reason that Hp could only take 160,00 free processors is that the end users did not want to buy the stuff. If the end users wanted the unproven AMD crap then HP would have sold millions of AMD processors and Intel would have sold 160,000 units.

Winners get the champagne and the hotties in the winners circle. Sore losers slink away to cry on Neelie the Greats shoulder.
