I had a friend die of cancer at 22. People in that age group do get seriously ill and if they recover, often they are saddled with large debts going forward if they had no health insurance. Of course that happens. That is the risk in not carrying health insurance. Duh. There is no "right" to be cancer free. Never was, and unfortunately, that isn't something Obama can guarantee, either. But a person who has cancer at 22 and has no health insurance CAN get treatment. Almost always. There are rare instances where a person is unable to do so and those should be, and can be, addressed. But you don't rip out the best health care system in the world -- by a mile -- just to fix a minor problem.
