Here's a quote from one her characters [aka her]: <The rotter who simpers that he sees no difference between the power of the dollar and the power of the whip, ought to learn the difference on his own hide – as, I think, he will. > working-minds.com I see you didn't answer the questions. None of what you wrote has anything to do with Ayn Rand's ideas. It is in fact your ideology which is the enslaving tool - you vote for politicians who take OPM by force for your benefit. That's greed and is evil and murderous. People are dying in droves because of your ideology and the dying is just warming up. But you are right that something being natural doesn't make it good. Slavery was "natural" as part of the law of the jungle. But you mistakenly think that competition is bad. Competition is fun and I spent considerable time each day competing with competitors to get the customers' dollars. Why do you think competition is bad? Perhaps you can't compete so find it more convenient to rob, using other people as your weapons and democratic majority as your cover and power. Do you earn a living or do you get money from a government stash of OPM? I just clicked on your profile and I see that you did not earn money. You were in the public trough. Yes, I have seen "compassion" in the form of politicians being compassionate with OPM. It leads to crime, cruelty and death among the recipients of their largess who are taught that free money is a normal state and others should be forced to work for them against their will. You wonder how anyone could think for even a second how slavery was OK and yet you vote for continuation of it each election and support it constantly in your denigration of people who oppose it. In your slave system, the only ways out are; be a beggar, join the enslavers as you have done, become a thief, or die of hunger. Your philosophy is evil, absolute evil. What amazing is that you actually think your ideas are good. Slave drivers couldn't see that they were evil either. They no doubt thought they were good people and their slaves were paid for, fair and square. It's probably impossible for you to arrive at "a decent level of thinking" - you'd have to take seriously the slogan "An unexamined life is not worth living". But when reading that slogan, don't forget the slogan "Don't let a slogan do your thinking for you". Mqurice
