Go thru all the cases at the SEC and you will see it's all about pump and dumps!


Not exactly. Most SEC cases were about pump & dumps, but some were about poop & scoop. Anyway paid bashers have been proven to exist.

In InvestAmerica's case (OTCBB: INVT), which subpoenaed Raging Bull to identify 14 INVT-bashers, the purpose of the suit was to "ultimately find out if any of the 14 bashers was employed directly or indirectly by a market maker or by a member firm of the SEC or the NASD."

In the case of QuestNet Corp. (OTCBB: QNET), "Cats3" turned out to be Jerome Rosen, lawyer and senior trader with J. Alexander Securities (ALEX), a major market making firm. His felony conviction was topped off by disbarment
