IMO, that forced eviction of the innocent renters without warning was brutal and sadistic. This is getting to be a serious problem, and there are local and national efforts underway to strengthen renter rights in these situations...

Lost decades are brutal! Brazil shed the gains from 1950-1980 in the "Lost Decade"!

As I returned from Nigeria -where I hid myself from the losses- I use to see the slow and continuous deterioration.

Out of a sudden countries where we did not a visa started asking for it and were being stiff even if you had got one. The Brazucas were leaving in droves the lack of opportunities.

Obviously the US is falling from a much higher elvel and wold not reach the low levels of Brazil's 'Lost Decade' time. But it is not going to be easy.
