The developed and developing world seem to have 1-1.5 billion people who are Americans or live like Americans. 60 years ago, there were probably 10 percent who lived like that. So the numbers have grown 1000 percent. How come the next 500 percent growth is unsustainable but the last 1000 percent was considered almost a right?
