Yes, isn't that interesting? When one of my German friends couldn't get a job [as an architect], he went nuts. All he wanted to do was work. It took him a year and he had to move to London to find a job. His reaction was like any American....with one exception.....he knew he could draw unemployment for two years as opposed to the six months we get. That relieved some of the financial pressure and anxiety.

We have been fed a tall boat load of nonsense about Europe by the right in this country. Most everything I heard about Europe and Europeans growing up has proven to be untrue or a gross exaggeration.
