Incredible how you can pick and choose which part of which gospel is the truth....

" Ehrman claims we can't know much about Jesus due to the alleged unreliability of the NT. Yet he also claims he knows Jesus didn't rise from the dead, that Jesus didn't make a claim of divinity, etc.IOW he claims both that the NT is unreliable but that he possess reliable information about what Jesus did and didn't do and did or didn't believe. Self-contradiction."

There's nothing contradictory in what he says... He says the NT is not reliable so between the dubious value of the NT as historical truth and his own common sense about rising from the dead makes his views, as you report, entirely consistent...

""Gospels" written centuries after the fact by heretics "
If these are not true, according to your religion, why are they in the bible? Another case of cafeteria Christianity?
