If I didn't know they couldn't plot their way out of an open field, I'd say this whole kerfuffle was ginned up by Democrats who wanted this thing to go all the way...

What is it with these guys, do they have a death wish?

So far, Obama hasn't missed an opportunity to do something stupid. I'm not sure why he would stop now.

He was going to pay back the nutjobs so he said he would close GITMO. Now, it turns out, Bush had it right to begin with so he has had to make up some insignificant changes in the rules of evidence to justify his flip flop.

Then, there was the release of the EIT memos -- another nutjob payback, and now the Congressional democrats turn out to be not only fools, but lying fools. Now, Gibbs is trying to distance himself from the entire thing.

And then there are the so-called "torture" (LOL) photos. Nope, can't do it. Why? Because Bush had it right.

Reality? Bush had MOST of it right.

Obama has taken some hard lumps in this process but I think he is learning.
