"Do not confuse the AMD partisans with a presentation of real, actual facts. "

Soon as one of the Intel boosters actual does so, I for one will be happy to look at them. So far, all we get is wild speculation, completely made up stuff and a stuffy requirement for court ready evidence.

Now, it would make sense to say judgment should be reserved until the EC releases the full report. But what we are getting is a demand to reject the EC report before it can be released.

"CJ can not give an an actual example of a single discount plan used by Intel that the EC has ruled was a violation of Section 82"

No, because the information hasn't been released yet. But it will. Unless I miss my guess, what we will see is a discount schedule that is heavily loaded to high volumes. And it varies from OEM to OEM and per quarter or what ever the period covered is. Upon examination, the schedule can be seen to track the OEMs expected sales over the period in question. And with the big breaks occuring at a small percentage range of the expected sales volume. In addition, there will be emails and internal documents to nail down the reasons behind the differences.

Windsock, > CJ can read Intel's mind and determine that Intel knew the plan would be considered an abuse of dominant position by the EC.

Yeah I too found that argument laughable.

Cause you know, Intel had its "backs to the wall," LOL ...

Windsock,

re: CJ and the other AMD partisans are not interested in having a rational discussion where reasonable people can differ. >

Reasonable people can differ but I find discussion with gasbags silly. Now how can I convince CJ of that...
