Gettin' a little out there aren't you with your link between Christianity and today's financial debacle?

Yes, of course.

But the past lives in the present in ways we often do not comprehend.

It would take a hell of a lot of serious scholarship to give the idea I suggest any validity.

So please don't take something like that seriously. It's a possibility, the idea is very intriguing, etc., but I fully understand that I cannot prove such a thing; I definitely do not claim it as a fact. A fleeting speculative thought that is simply....fun to think about but which might contain a smidgen or more of truth.

You will note my self description in my profile as an agent provocateur, though Jay is 10x more provoking than I could ever be.

By the way, we are screwed, the latest rally is a sham. Put on your financial helmet for the Fall will be awful.

"when post war baby boomers arrived in the work force complemented by the major social change around the role of the female in the work place."

Yes! The capital piled up and the workforces need to be huge.
Women had worked in the factories during WWII and continued after the war ended instaed of returning to their 10.000 role

"By the 80's, two income families became the norm and with that double the consumption power per family resulting in inflation in housing prices and consumables in general."

Yes, again! Once the women became redundant, they did not return to their traditional role either. They got the power participating in government and governments needing their vote accommodated women in thew whole scheme of things doling out pseudo-jobs.

Now women need to be taken out of the work forces and men be the bread earner and they should return to their 10.000 years traditional roles

There will be no policies implemented for that effect. It will be just natural return.
