The world will never be at peace as long as man is around. Man is a violent, arrogant creature who thinks only of his own needs and desires. Not too bright either considering man can't even cure or prevent the common cold.

To think that an all knowing, all powerful God created man in his own image is laughable. I still suspect the universe is nothing more than some 4th grade alien's science experiment, like a hay infusion. Once the grade is received (probably a C-) it's down the garbage disposal.

that man is evolving and one day the world will be at peace.

In one strict sense, humans are now "evolving" at likely the fastest rate ever for our species, namely we are accumulating Single Point Mutations at a very high rate. These are one of the enabling mechanisms for evolution, and if you google you'll see various articles claiming humans are thus evolving rapidly. It is unfortunately, not so simple. For species evolution, you also need these mutations to be selected, and go to fixation (i.e. all the members of the species get the gene). This part is not happening at all in humans, because the population is very large, birth rates are low, and there is little differential survival pressure (most everyone lives to reproduce) and there are almost no isolated subpopulations. So new mutations are not likely to go to fixation in modern humans, for many many generations. So human evolution has essentially ground to a halt for now.

Hence no world peace anytime soon. It really is very scientific. :)
