"If true (why would Wilkerson LIE about it?)," Which is the point, now isn't it? He was in a position to know and doesn't have any real motive to lie. That is a hard concept for the wingnuts, I suppose. Lying is like breathing, and the idea that most normal people need a motive to do so is foreign to them... "it means foreign combatants were TORTURED in order to elicit false confessions to be used to con congress and the American people into supporting the Iraq invasion. Certainly a HIGH crime." More importantly, it is a war crime.
