I felt sorry for Steele. He has to TRY to defend an (R) party that is being run by Cheney and Limbaugh, when HE's the one that's supposed to be leading the parade. He's just a pathetic token lawn jockey for the (R)'s white, conservative plantation mansion..

"The Rs don't want a "half-truth" commission." Uh, huh. Sure. "For example, if we're going to release the "torture memos", let's release both sides of the argument and allow the public to see the whole truth." Well, duh i-node. That is what the Democrats have been saying. Try to keep up. So if the Republicans are behind it, then it will happen. Unless this latest uproar means a special prosecutor would be better.

If we're going to get to the truth, let's make sure that the truth comes out -- that both the Ds and the Rs supported waterboarding when it was politically popular to do so (which it was at the time). Do you understand that if the CIA briefed Dems, it would only have been Graham and Pelosi who would have been briefed? And do you really think that the only thing dirty in the Bush administration is the torture business? Once this starts all the dirty laundry will come out. Are you ready for that?
