I find the split in Economics can be traced back to physics. It's the difference between a "closed" thermostatic cycle and an open "thermodynamic" one. The open one is correct.

Ties right in with what life is. Life is an "open" thermodynamic system that organizes energy.

Liberals tend to see economics from the POV of a thermostatic system. Libertarians see it from a thermodynamic POV. That's why the Left is wrong and the Right is correct.

Many Conservatives also make the same mistake of trying to interpret economics as closed system.
