I like Vaclav Havel. Sarko seems okay. Merkel too. Its socialism and the unwillingness to defend themselves and their heritage thats the bad idea.

We have been fed a tall boat load of nonsense about Europe by the right in this country. Most everything I heard about Europe and Europeans growing up has proven to be untrue or a gross exaggeration. Of course. Europe is the enemy of the rabid right. Their worst nightmare. You have to wonder why they don't care to see that every American is taken care of to some degree. What is it that causes them to find the European mindset so appalling? I have my suspicions.
