I never read a clearer indication that Pakistan is willing to let Americans fight and die for their internal conflicts and other Muslim causes.

I read it as being so wrapped up in facing off to India that they would rather lose in the NW Territories than draw down troops. As if India wants to invade Pakistan. They don't want to run the place.

It reads like VN about 1965. political moves in the Capital while the NVA was about to cut the country in half. Maybe Johnson,,, er, I mean Obama will restart the draft and send a Real Army!!
