Gus, please don't misunderstand me. I WANT Seagate to succeed as much as anyone. The source of my skepticism about Seagate's future in the desktop arena is that I know these people. I know how they think, how they operate, how they make decisions. Unless Mr. Porter radically changes their thinking, which he hasn't yet, or Al shakes things up, I see more of the same: approximately 1 generation behind the density curve in every desktop product. It's been going on a LONG time with these people. I hope it changes, but I remain pessimistic. Thanks for the great link, very interesting article.
