They all thought that Cheney had been so beaten down by the MSM that no one would believe him. What they didn't understand was that when he spoke what people believed to be the truth, they couldn't defeat him. That is why the Left is screaming so much about his comments. The MSM swim in a school. Like fish, they don't know they're wet. Could there be a serious opinion of Cheney different from theirs? Why, yes, actually there could. The sound of a politician speaking clearly and thoughtfully from his convictions with no punches pulled, not caring where the chips may fall, is a rare one. People tend to react favorably to it even if they don't agree with everything he says. btw, this is a good example of why I don't believe that the MSM has killed Sarah Palin's future national career, though they may fancy otherwise.
