And you're right -- Blanco's political life is over, and for good reasons. A few months before the flood, I was unlucky enough to be at an event where she was the keynote speaker. It was literally so bad that a sizable portion of the attendees got up and walked out in the middle of the speech. The woman was grossly incompetent. That cannot be said about Bush or FEMA, at least not truthfully.
