"I suspect the torture thing is the tip of the iceberg." There is a lot of ugly stuff that is intertwined there. As RoadWalker noted, this isn't a particularly good time for it to come up. Both for the reasons he enunciated and it is too soon. The potential for it to get really heated is high. I agree but the Rs are desperate and not very rational at this point. Exposing all the crap the Bush administration pulled may be the only way to draw out all the venom in that crowd and undermine their would be leaders like Cheney and Rush.
