Humans are capable of many things compassion is just one of a long list. You are using it as a sole criteria for judging others as if you were a judge. I think a little Socratic self examination is in order and after that you can explain to the thread why you're so special. Most likely any species that evolves inside or outside the galaxy is bloodthirsty and savage and we must be prepared to destroy them first and examine their remains after.
