No, in fact I think Obama's about-face is a good thing.

But what about the "truth"? Surely you are not for hiding the details of torture that happened under Bush's watch? Isn't that what a "truth commission" is supposed to find out and publicize?

The public has a "right" to know, according to the ACLU and the peaceniks ...

Another possibility is he just changed commanders in Afghanistan. The last thing he needed was to complicate that.
