Pretty big talk considering Democrats just got control recently and they couldn't beat Bush in 2004 even with the war going badly. And they got Congress by recruiting and running moderates pretending to be conservatives. Rahm's strategy, knowing the Congressmen with seniority will still be the old liberal dinosaurs like Reid, Pelosi, Waxman, Dodd, Frank. 51% of the country is now prolife. A solid majority doesn't want socialism. The further left the Democrats go, the shorter will be their hold on power.
