They saw hounding Clinton as an epic win. It turned out to be an epic fail. The problem they face is they can get attention by grandstanding, but most Americans get annoyed when they get a closer look at what it is all about. Which is why the wingnuts are on the decline. They've gone to the well too many times.

I just watched AC360......their take is that Rs attack is not getting traction against Pelosi. That would explain the backpedaling by Boehner and Steele.

Yes, given recent polls, that's very apparent. Its not working at all anymore.
