The global selloff..err panic.. continues...

Australian shares plunge 9.2 pct on Dow's slump

SYDNEY, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Prices on the Australian share market went into freefall in panicked trade on Tuesday,
falling 9.2 percent or 228 points to 2,249.0 after all of the major stocks on the exchange had traded for the first time.

The 9.2 percent fall easily outstripped the 7.18 percent fall by the Dow on Monday and is the biggest percentage point fall
in the Australian market since the last Black Tuesday on October 20, 1987, when the All Ordinaries fell 25 percent.
