exactly. amat is a pawn in a much bigger game. if hk decides to defend the value of its currency at all cost the results will be expensive for everybody. history is full of failed atempts to defend overvalued currencies. also i keep hearing that clinton and rubin should come to the markets rescue... why... it seems to me that part of profiting from the ups is to asume the risk of the downs. in fact I think that rubin might welcome a 20-305 correction. it might keep asset inflation in check.
