Or sets up a firm to lobby for the company for several years before accepting the party's nomination to return to government work, just in time for legislation that will effect the industry or...... gets appointed to head the Treasury, so that you don't have to worry about those silly election thingies.

And then, finally, he returns to the private sector to complain about the intrusive government on his beloved industry.
