As an earlier poster put it, this isn't our fathers bear market. It's the 90's and every one wants instantaneous results. I think we will likely see that by wringing out the excess for another day or two and then some stability and movement back up to new highs. Call it a two or three day bear market, and then we resume the "overall" trend.

The good thing for us CYMI longs is the sell off occurred earlier than the general market.

There is just too much bloody money coming in via 401(k) and pension funds not to sustain this market upward for another 10 years with these occasional blips along the way.

IMHO, we will look back on this a year from now and have seen it as a buying opportnuty (if one has any idle cash)
