If we capture a member of a team with a nuclear bomb in the US, are we obligated to tell him we hope he tells us where it is but he doesn't have to while we wait for the mushroom cloud?

Please explain your moral basis for objecting to torture at all. Thats what I asked you. Not your definition .... which by the way seems to disallow defense of the country or anything else.

I agree. Those mean old fishermen hooking helpless fish in the mouth to coerce them into the boat. Why, they're just reprehensible and barbaric.
