yes, governments don't have immunity from the principles of free markets.

i saw the discussion you had with ahhaha on his thread about greed. as a matter of fact, it was through the discussion on greed you had a while ago that i found this thread.

i'm with you that one can see his own greed. but that one can, doesn't mean that one always does. i would suppose there are times that i'm greedy and don't see it. and there are times that i see it and act out of greed anyway. i would agree with all the rest of what ahhaha said about it.

most people believe that greed is an affliction. but greed is a remedy, not an affliction. it is a reaction. a consequence of something else. and it makes little sense to fight or try to stop a remedy.
