"No scientist would ever say it was."

You are mistaken.

"The Universe (according to the Big Bang theory) came from a singularity, not from nothing."

This is progress, however, as it is a much improved position from where you began this evening. I'm almost willing to give you some credit for you claim on being a 'progressive'... almost.

However, now you have proclaimed something new, not new in the general sense but new for this particular discussion. You've declared a pre-existent state for the Universe labeled singularity. Even if you wont label singularity as nothing in the universe, (which you just defined) no universe yet means nothing in it yet. Big bang a com'n thought. The presumption being time did not have meaning yet because time is simply a measure of separate things and their movement, there was no space yet because space can't be described except in relation to its occupant, nor was the stuff in space, it was over there with time and energy and stuff being singularity. Some people call that the Alpha state, and some say the height of development of the Universe is the Omega state. So we now have all the power, and the alpha and omega of the universe existing before the materials of time, space, and life came into being. ... You're starting to sound Biblical son. You've just referred to the all powerful Alpha and Omega of the Universe, sort of. I know it was something of a slip on your part but still, wowww.
