fpg - why do you need this explained to you?

Corporations use pricing power to maximize their profits

Did you also know that the sun rises in the East? Yes, it's a fact. I didn't believe it either until I got up early one morning and checked it out for myself.

Silly little Elmer, it wasn't the contents of his statement I was commenting on, but rather the implicit non-denial/support of:

Surely you aren't implying that Intel was ofsetting their discounts by artificially inflating prices?

So Elmer, do you also think that Intel was offsetting their discounts by artificially inflating prices? Or are you going to leave Tench twisting in the wind on that matter?

Elmer, > fpg - why do you need this explained to you?

He's just jumping up and down thinking that I admitted to illegal behavior on the part of Intel.

The funny thing is that he really thinks if Intel lowered prices on all of its products, the only one that's going to be hurt is Intel. Same hubris that AMD management suffers from. They really think they deserve more based on technical merit alone.
